i used mhvtl : mhvtl-2010-09-23.tgz scst :scst-2.0.0.1.tar.gz I now have two problems: A: When I configured apache, when using ie: http://10.0.0.99 prompted to visit when there are two error pages, that is not installed mhvtl, but I have obviously installed B:in 2003, has now been discovered using iscsi target, but the driver managed inside IBM ULT3580-TD SCSI sequential device driver does not always load after load on the use of SymantecDeviceDriversforWindowsServers20070215_287850.exe tape drive has a yellow exclamation point, and do not know If you connect the tape drive using nbu7.0 。

You are using an old mhvtl version. Why don't you try the latest from github http://mhvtl-linux-virtual-tape-library-community-forums.966029.n3.nabble.com/ANNOUNCE-mhvtl-now-available-via-github-tp2204096p2204096.html

For the GUI, please setup sudo per documentation and you will also need a newer version of MHVTL as well.

Dear Sir
In my opinion, you make some mistakes
1. According to the following documentation
http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH51096,
the device driver is not for Netbackup 7.0.
It is not neccessary to install the symantec netbackup device driver when you install netbackup 7
2. The Netbackup 7 media server is only supported on the x64 platform, not for 32 bit platform. so , you must install the IBM Tape driver for x64 platform .
3.  you must make sure , "netbackup device manager" service depand on the "MSiSCSI' service , that is , before the "netbackup device manager" services start, the "MSiSCSI' service must be started
Dear Sir , I am chinese-spoken person, if you want to talk to me, you can call me on QQ (781498220)

Although mhvtl defaults with IBM LTO-4/5 I find a STK T10000B drive emulation works really well with NetBackup.

Also the T10000B drivers are automagically discovered by windows 2003/2008

For what it is worth, the SymantecTapeDrivers are 32bit only and only recomened for tape drives manufactured before 2007. Any drives after 2007 should use manufactures drivers.

cheers
Mark

你好swanlet:
     关于2003下的驱动问题,我已经找到了驱动程序,用的是microsoft的补丁包就可以的,不过在测试的过程中我还遇到了其他的问题,我已经加了你的qq,看到消息后请您给我回复。
