Hi guys, please help -
Currently I am using Oracle Secure Backup with mhvtl_1_0_0_465d9be because I am having some trouble with unloading + loading tapes with later versions of mhvtl.

I am planning some more tests and thinking of changing devices to STK, but would like to know our opinion first.
What do you think of this config? :

I think you may need to limit serial number to 8 character .. Also, may need to match your channel, target, lun in your NAA. fifo is not required. I am using a similar one as shown below:

What errors are you getting ?

The serial number limit is 10 chars...

There is no need for the fifo entry.

Later versions of mhvtl does check media type & drive type. i.e. A mount of LTO 2 media into an LTO 4 drive will be read only.
Mount of AIT media into non AIT drive will fail (an example)

Can you also post library_contents.10 too
