I have seen that the tape files has created in the directory /opt/mhvtl. How i can change this directory? i have seen that some people uses links, is this the unique solutions?
The other option is to build the binaries from source.
i.e.
$ make MHVTL_HOME_PATH=/var/lib/mhvtl/media
Where the /var/lib/mhvtl/media will be the root directory for all the media.
Other variables are:
MHVTL_VERSION=0.18.17
MHVTL_HOME_PATH=/opt/mhvtl (Default directory for data files)
MHVTL_CONFIG_PATH=/etc/mhvtl (default directory for config file(s) )
USR=vtl (User account the daemons run under)
